First Dairy Industry Seminar in Madrid by GEA Westfalia Separator Ibérica
The first BestPractices Dairy Seminar held in Madrid on 18th and 19th October 2010 met with great interest from the Spanish and Portuguese dairy industry. Manuel Delgado, Managing Director of GEA Westfalia Separator Ibérica S.A., welcomed over 70 delegates from the Iberian peninsula’s dairy industry.
Kieselguhr-free Filtration convinces Australia and New Zealand
Since 2009, Australia’s and New Zealand’s famous brewery group Lion Nathan has been running a total of five PROFI® separator / membrane filter installations for beer filtration. During the same time, Lion Nathan has completed a changeover to green beer clarification in all of their eight plants, exclusively using centrifuges from the GEA Westfalia Separator Group. Separator’s Digest® talked to John Meehan, Brewing Development Manager, about their experiences.
Overwhelming Acceptance for Westfalia Separator® eagleclass
GEA Westfalia Separator Group officially launched the Westfalia Separator® eagleclass in September 2008 on the occasion of the last SMM. This OSE series represents the fifth generation of self-cleaning mineral oil separators. The acceptance on the market was overwhelming.
