Westfalia Separator CareTechnology

Westfalia Separator AG, Oelde, has developed new separators and decanters for gas-tight as well as high-pressure applications in the chemical industry. For instance, the decanter CC 458 with a bowl diameter of 450mm, sold more than 2,200 times to date, is now also available in an up to 0.05 bar gas-tight version to open up new growth sectors for our customers. All electrical components are rated for operation in explosion-protected zones; the applicable ATEX provisions have been taken into consideration in the design of this machine.

With the nozzle-type separator DC 130, Westfalia Separator also presented a new separator generation which has been specifically designed for high-pressure processes in the chemical industry. The separator can be used without problem at an over-pressure of 10 bar and a temperature of 160°C. The nozzle-type separator can additionally be equipped with a washing facility or a concentrate recycling facility in order to increase the purity of the suspension by means of displacement washing or to concentrate the suspension by recycling part of the concentrate directly in front of the nozzle.

The intelligent design of the DC 130 with direct drive and special access for quick nozzle replacement means a lower service requirement. Growing performance combined with cutting operating costs are distinct features of Westfalia Separator CareTechnology.
