With the clarifier GSC 75 and the decanter CE 345, two centrifuges for the medium capacity range are celebrating their world premiere in the Nuremberg trade center.
Westfalia Separator perceives itself as an innovative provider of modern separating technology for all sizes of operations in the brewing and beverage industry. Westfalia Separator is therefore continuing to develop its product line to meet the markets’ needs which the centrifuge specialist impressively demonstrated at BRAU Beviale from 15. to 17. November 2006. The focus was on capacity-optimised solutions for the kieselguhr-free Westfalia Separator PROFI® beer filtration, modern solids management and beer recovery. With the GSC 75 clarifier and the CE 345 decanter, two centrifuges for the medium capacity range celebrated their world premiere in the Nuremberg trade centre.
With Westfalia Separator PROFI® filtration, Westfalia Separator has definitively achieved a breakthrough in the market this year. Amongst others, two global players, the Danish Carlsberg and the US Coors Group, have decided in favour of Westfalia Separator PROFI® installations with an hourly capacity of 400 hl. At Coors, two of these combined separator/membrane filter systems will go on stream in the first quarter 2007. And deservedly so because this combined separator/membrane filter process interlinks economy, ecology and product quality, generating a sustainable added value for the brewery.
With the new GSC 75, Westfalia Separator rounds off the product line of its clarifiers specifically optimised for the beverage industry. with a capacity of up to 300 hl/h and a further developed Westfalia Separator HydroStop system® ejection system, it offers medium-sized operations optimum conditions to utilise the immense advantages of the Westfalia Separator HyDRY® technology. With its seven models GSC 4, 6, 20, 45, 75, 95 and 150 the GSC series now covers a capacity range from 3000 to 60,000 l/h. The GSC separators are simultaneously an excellent example of the strategy of Westfalia Separator to integrate state-of-the-art centrifuge technology in all performance classes.
With the concept of modern solids management, Westfalia Separator is effectively responding to the fact that it is not only important to separate solids from the beer quickly and efficiently in the filtration stage. The solids management concept of Westfalia Separator consistently applies modern customised separator and decanter solutions in all relevant stages of beer production, that solve these separating duties like Westfalia Separator PROFI® filtration.
For recovering beer from tank bottoms, Westfalia Separator exhibited, for example, the new CE 345 decanter at BRAU Beviale featuring a capacity of up to 250 hl/, a Delta power T drive and a good price-performance ration, making it a very attractive proposition for medium-sized operations.
