By being named “Best Innovators 2010/11” in June of this year, GEA Group was honored as the mechanical engineering company with the most successful and sustainable innovation management in Germany. Not long after, GEA Westfalia Separator Group was receiving an award itself: The “TOP 100” seal of approval certifies that the firm belongs to the innovative elite of medium-sized companies in Germany. 

Over the course of many months, the Vienna University of Economics examined the innovative performance of numerous medium-sized companies in Germany. The 100 best, among them, GEA Westfalia Separator Group, shall now carry the seal of approval for one year.

Innovation of the Year 2011 – ten finalists from the Top 100 are hoping to be bestowed this title. Among them is GEA Westfalia Separator Group, which has made it to the final stage. The Vienna University of Economics is putting their favourites for the innovation of the year up to an online vote. GEA Westfalia Separator Group has decided to enter the race with its unique separator with integrated direct drive – the Westfalia Separator^® directdrive^∞.

But which invention really is the Number One? A winner will be picked by 31 August and you can make your vote count too!
