GEA Westfalia Separator at INTERVITIS INTERFRUCTA 2010

High-Performance Separation Technology from GEA Westfalia Separator

In must and fruit juice clarification, the GSE 100 from GEA Westfalia Separator presented at INTERVITIS INTERFRUCTA 2010 for the first time delivers a capacity of up to 10,000 l/h; in wine clarification capacities even reaching 20,000 l/h.

GEA Westfalia Separator will be showing energy-saving, economical and high-performance centrifuges for wine, must and fruit juice at INTERVITIS INTERFRUCTA 2010. Interesting exhibits include a new GSE 100 centrifugal clarifier for wine and fruit juice for the medium capacity range and a likewise new, high-performance and energy-efficient clarifying decanter GCF 465 for the clarification of wine, must and fruit juice.

In must and fruit juice clarification, the GSE 100 presented for the first time delivers a throughput capacity of up to 10,000 l/h; in wine clarification even capacities reaching 20,000 l/h. The GSE 100 rounds off the Westfalia Separator® hyvol® product line in the medium capacity range and supplements the somewhat smaller GSE 75 machine already on the market. With the new decanter GCF 465, GEA Westfalia Separator has succeeded in constructing a clarifying decanter with fundamentally improved performance while simultaneously substantially reducing the service and operating costs. It is rated for capacities of 5 to 10 t/h for wine and fruit juice and 10 to 15 t/h for must clarification. The optimized bowl design provides a larger clarification area in every field of application and consequently maximum separating efficiency.

The service concept of “applied consulting” provides a comprehensive analysis of the actual machine status. Our consultants will demonstrate how the three central pillars of maintenance strategy, availability, efficiency and cost control can be optimized. Through applied consulting, the customer has the possibility of actively learning and benefiting from the knowledge of the consultants on-site.
