Decanter type CE 345 – new multi-function machine in the wine cellar

The new decanter type CE 345 can be used as a multi-function machine for must clarification, tank bottom processing or tartrate removal.

The new decanter type CE 345 presented at INTERVITIS INTERFRUCTA by  Westfalia Separator Food Tec GmbH is a very attractive proposition for medium-sized operations with its capacity of up to 5000 l/h and its good price-performance ratio. The decanter can be used as a multi-function machine for must trub processing, tank bottom processing or tartrate removal.  The optimised bowl design of the decanter ensures a large clarifying area to give maximum separating performance in every area of application.

The CE 345 is equipped with the “Delta power T” drive for automatic torque measurement and differential speed regulation. This drive differs from conventional gear drives in that an additional secondary gear and secondary motor are used.  This construction allows infinitely-variable, torque-dependent differential speed regulation.  The high regulating accuracy permits extremely small differential speeds giving optimum dewatering of the solids.  This, for instance, always provides maximum yields in tank lees processing and an excellent quality of the finished wine. Further characteristic features of the CE 345 are excellent efficiency, low space requirement and a low-maintenance environmentally friendly method of operation.
