All Service Products Under One Roof at New Location in Hamburg

Westfalia Separator Mineraloil Systems moved into its new premises in Hamburg-Harburg in the middle of last year. The authorized workshop was opened in the autumn of 2007. All service products of the “Original Manufacturer Service” (OMS), including spare parts, sales, repairs, technical customer service, training and process optimisation, are now united for the first time under one roof at the new location.

For professional handling of spare parts logistics, the company has engaged the services of an external service provider who is now responsible for handling all aspects of warehouse organisation. The new repair workshop, with its own balancing and testing room, is located over an area of approx. 600 m2 between the warehouse and the office building

New infrastructure for training
An appropriate infrastructure has been created to provide training for customers, employees of subsidiaries and internal employees. A separate training room is available which is equipped with simulation equipment. This means that tests can be carried out on machines under conditions which are as realistic as possible. The workshop has a test bay which can also be used for training purposes. The new service product “Process Improvement” is also integrated in the Hamburg organisation.
