A Real Hit: Westfalia Separator proplus from GEA Westfalia Separator Process

Westfalia Separator proplus

Many good reasons speak for the worldwide enormous success of Westfalia Separator proplus for milk separation and bacteria removal from milk.

The widely accepted Westfalia Separator proplus process from GEA Westfalia Separator Process GmbH, Oelde, concentrates on the protein in the solids. Through the application of a specific fluid mechanics model, GEA Westfalia Separator Process has succeeded in significantly reducing the ejection frequency and consequently the potential loss of valuable protein. Every gram of additional protein means hard cash for the user.

The ejection intervals have been extended by several times over which in turn results in less water consumption and a reduction of the waste water costs – an environmental aspect not to be neglected. Due to the extended ejection cycles, less mechanical stress acts on the machine which increases availability. However, the decisive added value factor remains the increase of the protein content in the skim milk and hence the generation of additional revenue without increasing the milk capacity.

High annual savings
Westfalia Separator proplus delivers concrete advantages; potentials of up to 60,000 Euros per year are possible. The vast majority of all new milk separators for separation and bacteria removal leave the plant in Oelde today with the integrated Westfalia Separator proplus system. Since the market launch, numerous older machines have been retrofitted with the Westfalia Separator proplus system. Because Westfalia Separator proplus pays off for both, new and used machines.
