Founded in the mid 70’s in the North of Holland, GEA Hovex started serving the Western-European potato starch industry. Over the years broadening the geographical scope, GEA Hovex took aboard other applications like wheat, corn, cassava and sago.
In close co-operation with affiliated GEA companies (e.g. GEA Westfalia Separator, GEA Barr-Rosin, GEA Wiegand, GEA Tuchenhagen, GEA Niro), GEA Hovex offers a total concept with access to most advanced processes and technologies for starch processing and biotechnology, e.g. drying, effluent evaporation, protein recovery, heat exchanging, etc.
