Under The “TOP 100”

Only creative companies with foresight and a sense for innovation have succeeded in being included among the ranks of the one hundred most innovative German SME companies. Since 2011, GEA Westfalia Separator Group has been included in this group, and has been awarded the “Top 100” quality seal by Lothar Späth in the Baltic spa Warnemünde. Over a period of several months, the Economics University of Vienna tested the innovative behaviour of a total of 272 SME companies in Germany.  The 100 best companies, including GEA Westfalia Separator Group, are able to use the quality seal for one year.

Every six weeks, a committee consisting of representatives from a wide range of departments and management meets at GEA Westfalia Separator Group. It observes the market and customers, and works together with universities and experts from other sectors. “We operate specific technology scouting in our search for new ideas. Only in this way are we able to permanently maintain our technology leadership,” says Head of Construction Wilfried Mackel. “The award makes us proud and shows us that it makes sense if we all pull together in one direction,” says Segment President Markus Hüllmann.
