GEA Westfalia Separator directdrive∞

The GEA Westfalia Separator directdrive focuses on what is essential; it transfers the motor power directly onto the bowl, thus reducing friction losses; it improves the efficiency and achieves significant energy savings. The operation of the separator is thus more simple, more energy efficient and more economic. It also provides space savings of between 30 and 35 percent compared with other separating solutions, and also operates much more quietly.

GEA Westfalia Separator prolong

The production of EFL milk (Extended Fresh Life milk) is a question of freshness, naturalness, taste, vitamin content, and the number of actually necessary shelf life days. However, it is also a question of installation and operation costs for suitable technologies and thus in the final analysis a question of the technology itself. GEA Westfalia Separator Group has now taken a tried-and-tested method which is familiar in cheese-making operations, and has adapted it for the production of EFL milk; the process has a wide range of advantages compared with the previous methods of heating and micro-filtration: double bacteria removal for fresh milk called GEA Westfalia Separator prolong with bacteria removal separators connected in series.

GEA Westfalia Separator proplus

The GEA Westfalia Separator proplus process permits a higher protein yield with extremely high separating efficiency and a higher solids concentration. This process produces more valuable protein for use in dairies and reduces the consumption of fresh water.

GEA Westfalia Separator procool

The GEA Westfalia Separator procool process also enables dairies to push forward into cold milk separation. While maintaining optimum product quality, the process provides high microbiological safety in cold milk separation. In addition, dairies can change over from hot to cold milk separation with a single separator. This new process uses smaller machines that use less energy and provide a rapid response to market requirements.

Complete systems

GEA Westfalia Separator supplies individual separators for integration in existing installations and complete process lines for manufacturing a wide range of dairy products e.g. for recovering quark and cream cheese.
